We are an ethical SEO provider which means we will always explain the process and risks associated with each technique that we use on your website.
Our SEO process contains three distinct phases.
Phase 1: Website Optimisation – This involves determining which keywords are best to target on your website then incorporating them into the right places.
Phase 2: Ongoing SEO Plan – We write a six month ongoing SEO plan which maps out the techniques to be used over the following six months. The plan is tailored to your specific business and takes into account things like competition, in-house skills, risk aversion, long term goals etc.
Phase 3: Implementing the SEO Plan – The third phase is to implement the plan. There will be many tasks that you can do in-house to maximise efficiency and returns or we can take care of everything for you. Many of the more effective techniques require an additional budget but these will be discussed in detail in Phase 2.
There are three main ways to approach SEO;
- Trick the search engines into thinking your website is the best (Stealth SEO)
- Make your website the best then tell the search engines about it (White Hat)
- A combination of the two (Grey Hat)
Each strategy uses a different combination of techniques and produces different results with various levels of SEO Risk.

How We Work
Once we get started we will send you a website optimisation project brief to fill out to get the project started. The brief contains questions about your business, products and services and keywords you would use to describe them. This will give us the information we need to get started on your keyword research and website optimisation.
When finished, we will hand over our report containing our recommendations for optimising your website. You should pass this report onto your web developer/designer to make the changes to your site as they are the ones most familiar with how your site works. If you don’t have a developer to make the changes you have several options;
- We can engage or recommend a developer to make the changes for you
- If your website is built on WordPress, we can make the changes for you
- We can switch your current website over to the WordPress platform and make the changes at the same time
Ongoing SEO Plan
When we’re ready to get started on the plan we’ll send you an Ongoing SEO project brief with questions about your past marketing activities, in-house capabilities, goals and more.
We will discuss the three SEO strategies in more details and help you decide whether you’d like to use a Stealth, Grey or White Hat approach.
We will deliver a 6 month SEO plan containing extensive research, contend ideas and strategies. It will also include instructions for carrying out the activities that you have indicated you’d like to do in-house.
Implementing the SEO Plan
We will help you to get started on your in-house activities (if any) and then work our activities around that.
We will start with the easier activities first to get a feel for the market then move onto the harder activities.
We will deliver a report at the beginning of each month with our activities from the previous month, planned activities for the next month and website performance from the past month.
We will keep you updated throughout the month when we start new activities or encounter any problems.
