Lead generation can be a complex subject with many different ideas, processes and tactics within it so we wanted to start off by mapping out the process and topics that are involved in each stage. The process is as follows;
- Reach Market
- Develop Interest
- Capture Lead
- Activate Sales Process
- Complete Conversion
- Measure, Analyse & Optimise
In the sections below we’ll map out the concepts and ideas associated with each stage of the process.
Reach Market
This stage simply means getting in front of your target market so that they become aware of you.
Develop Interest
At this stage we want our target market to actually engage with us an take an interest in what we have to offer.
Capture Lead
Now that we’ve developed interest we need to actually capture their contact details so we can move them into and through our sales process.
Activate Sales Process
Once we have our leads its time to activate the sales process to move them towards a conversion.
Complete Conversion
The sales process will bring your prospects (those that are ready to buy) to the door but you still need to get them through it by completing the sale and preparing for an ongoing relationship.
Measure, Analyse & Optimise
We need to continually measure, analyse and optimise the lead generation and sales process to make improvements and make sure we’re getting the best results possible.
